Argy
Venture Capital (“Argy”) is the advisory
company of Paris & Partners Group (www.parisandpartners.com)
for Private Equity and Venture Capital Activities, both in Europe
and abroad.
Argy
was founded in 1999, by Carlo Paris who has some 25 year experience
in mechanical engineering, international business, merchant
banking and corporate finance (see profile attached).
Argy
is full member of AIFI (www.aifi.it)
and Carlo Paris is member of AIFI Hi Tech Commission.
Argy
has developed a lot of experience in all different sectors and
investment stages. In 2000, by joint venturing with UniCredit
Group (the first Italian Bank) Argy has promoted a closed end
investment fund named “Aurora Private Equity S.A.”
, based in Luxembourg, for start-ups and venture capital investments.
In 2004, after market crisis for venture capital activities,
Aurora has been taken over by Private Investors and since then
has been focusing its investment strategy on few selected family
office club deals.
Among
Argy deals , it can be quoted the start up of Gandalf Airline
company that was floated in the Milan Nuovo Mercato Stock Exchange
and the 2000 start up of Metis Temporary Staffing company that
has reached as of 31 December 2006 a consolidated turnover equal
to euros 211 million.
In
2004 , Argy has been advisor to Regione Lombardia for start
up activity programs financed by Minerva Project of Lombardia
region.
